Can you believe this??? Braces!
Dr. Dillon will put them on after Christmas.
Dad says there is a new method that only takes 18 months.
I told him what I think 'quicker' implies, but he disagrees.

Wow, no french horn for a while I guess. Not that he played much anyways, but those were some of my favorite memories growing up, listening to him play.
That was my first thought, too. He's practicing his recorder for the Christmas program, and it's nice to hear that.
Only 18 months...
Wow...I can't believe it...BRACES!! Wow.
Yeah, I loved hearing Dad play the french horn too. My favorite was falling asleep hearing Mom play the Piano or Dad playing the French Horn.
Some of my sweetest memories from childhood were my mother playing the piano after we were all in bed. It was a frequent occurrence when we lived in Montana. Just something so peaceful, reassuring about it. I can still remember the songs she liked to play.
Once we moved to Arizona, we had more expenses that we couldn't meet as we had in Montana -- relying on farmers for milk, wheat -- relying on hunting to provide our meat. Mom began to work part time while we were in school. It made a huge impact on our family. I definitely prefer the feel of a mom in the home, even if she only works when the children are in school. Been there. Done that.
